Co-Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nelson currently serves as Global Net Lease (GNL) Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since July of 2017, and, since March of 2017, as a director of GNL. Mr. Nelson previously served as a member of GNL's audit committee from March 2017 until July 2017.
Mr. Nelson currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Xerox, as an independent director and chair of the audit committee for Chewy, Inc., an American online retailer of pet food and other pet-related products. Mr. Nelson served as lead director and audit committee member of Herbalife Nutrition Ltd.(board member from 2014 -January 2021) and as a director and member of the audit committee of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, a casino-entertainment company, from March 2019 to October 2020.
Mr. Nelson was previously a director and member of the audit committee of Icahn Enterprises GP, or IEP, from June 2001 to March 2019; a director of New York REIT, Inc. from November 2015 until June 2017; a director and chairman of the audit committee of the Viskase Companies, Inc. from April 2003 through April 2010; a director of American Entertainment Properties Corp. from December 2003 until March 2013; a director of Tropicana Entertainment Inc. from March 2010 until May 2014, and a member of its audit committee from March 2010 until December 2013 and a member of its nominating and governance committee until his resignation in May 2014; an independent director and chair of the audit committee for Roman DBDR Tech Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, formed for the purpose of effecting a business combination with one or more businesses with a focus on companies in the technology, media and telecom (â€TMTâ€) industries from December 2020 until December 2021; a director of Orbitex Financial Services Group from August 1995 until March 2001; a director and as Chairman of the audit committee of Cequel Communications, an owner and operator of a large cable television system, from April 2008 to November 2012; a director and member of the audit committee of Take Two Interactive Software, Inc. a publisher, developer, and maker of video games and video game peripherals, from April 2010 through November 2013; a director and member of the compensation, governance and strategic alternatives committees of Voltari Corporation (f.k.a. Motricity Inc.) from June 2011 to September 2015, and as Chairman of Voltari's board of directors from January 2012 to September 2015; Mr. Nelson was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eaglescliff Corporation, a specialty investment banking, consulting and wealth management company, from 1986 until 2009. From March 1998 through 2003, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Orbit Aviation, Inc., a company engaged in the acquisition and completion of Boeing Business Jets for private and corporate clients; and from August 1995 until July 1999, Mr. Nelson was Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman of Orbitex Management, Inc., a financial services company in the mutual fund sector.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Masterson joined AR Global Investments, LLC, the parent of the Advisor, in February 2013 and served in various accounting roles, including as chief accounting officer for the Company from September 2017 to October 2017, as chief accounting officer for American Finance Trust, Inc. from December 2016 to October 2017, as chief accounting officer for American Realty Capital Retail Centers of America, Inc. from December 2016 to February 2017, as controller for Business Development Corporation of America from February 2013 to March 2016, and as controller for Realty Finance Trust, Inc. from March 2016 to September 2016. Mr. Masterson also previously served as chief financial officer of BDCA Adviser II LLC from November 2016 through June 2017. From October 2006 to February 2013, Mr. Masterson worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he most recently served as a vice president in the Merchant Banking Division Controllers team. From August 2004 until October 2006, Mr. Masterson worked as an auditor at KPMG LLP. Mr. Masterson is a certified public accountant in New York State, holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from New York University.

Jason Slear serves as Executive Vice President and leads the acquisitions group for the Company
Prior to joining GNL, Mr. Slear was responsible for sourcing and closing more than 3.5B in single tenant net leased transaction for various non-traded REITs
Mr. Slear has served as key member of many M&A transactions which include underwriting, evaluating and strategic deployment of assets

Managing Director
Jacqui Shimmin serves as Managing Director, overseeing European acquisitions and property management while interfacing with the GNL team in New York

Vice President, Asset Management
Alex Wagstaff serves as Vice President responsible for the Asset Management of the UK and European Portfolio.
Alex has 18 years property experience and is a member of the Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors. Prior to joining the company Alex was a Partner at Addington Capital.
Our asset management team oversees leasing, tenant relationships and day-to-day property and construction management functions for our open-air shopping center portfolio.
Executive Vice President, Acquisitions

Vice President, Regional Asset Management
Ms. Drews oversees the growth strategy for all open-air shopping centers in the West, Southwest, Rocky Mountains, IL, IN, KY, MN and OH
Ms. Drews has over 20 years of retail asset management, leasing and finance experience with a Master of Business Administration from the SMU Cox School of Business.
Vice President, Regional Asset Management
Mr. Foster oversees the growth strategy for all open-air shopping center assets in the Southeast Region.
Mr. Foster has over 38 years of retail asset and property management, leasing and marketing experience and prior to joining RTL led the Asset Management team at Poag Shopping Centers.
Asset Manager
Mr. Aburrow oversees the asset management and growth strategy for GNL’s open-air shopping center assets in the Midwest, KY, TX, and OK
Mr. Aburrow brings his more than 17 years of commercial real estate experience to GNL, including most recently as co-head of retail asset management for L&B Realty where he maintained comprehensive oversight of a retail portfolio with a gross asset value in excess of $600 million. Prior to that his career included leadership positions in acquisitions, retail asset management and leasing. He began his career in the real estate brokerage field.
Asset Manager
Mr. Pillsbury oversees asset management and the growth strategy for GNL’s open-air shopping center assets in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and OH.
Mr. Pillsbury has nearly 20 years of commercial real estate leadership experience and, prior to joining GNL, was with CBRE as Director, Asset-Client Management where he was the single point of contact for over two million square feet of retail and office product and was the team lead for all leasing and property management functions. Mr. Pillsbury also brings previous industrial and retail leasing experience to GNL.
Director of Construction
Ms. Duvall oversees and directs all construction projects, budgets and delivery timelines. She also ensures that all contractors adhere to design specifications and building codes.
Ms. Duvall has more than two decades of commercial construction experience through her leadership positions in retail project management, and as a project engineer with budgeting, value engineering and project management experience.
Prior to joining GNL Ms. Duvall was with Washington Prime Group for ten years as Director of Construction where she managed pre-construction and construction activities and oversaw activities associated with the redevelopment of the firm’s assets.
Director of Property Management
Mr. Kanik oversees and directs all property management responsibilities for our multi-tenant portfolio. He is responsible for setting goals for each property and the portfolio as a whole, establishing timelines and guidelines for third party vendors and the internal team.
Mr. Kanik has over 20 years of commercial real estate and retail property management experience.
Prior to joining GNL, Mr. Kanik was Director of Property Management for Simon Konover Company and before that was with Regency Centers and Highwoods Properties.
